Two compensation paths exist. Legacy package purchases can still pay the existing referral bonus. Matrix enrollments use the matrix rules. An administrator chooses whether new verified payments run the legacy path, the matrix path, or both.
The current default pays the configured position commission to the member in the parent position when a direct child position is filled after a verified payment. Matrix plans with a zero commission do not create a commission. The system root is not paid.
A matching bonus is a separate ledger credit. It uses the fixed amount and the matching depth stored on the plan version. It does not continue without limit. The payee must have an active enrollment in the same matrix when that rule is enabled.
Filling a matrix, receiving a commission, or matching a downline payment depends on real enrollments and on the rules configured at that time. Past results are not a forecast.
